Screenshot of an Animator

A screenshot of a default simulation MNDL script for FMIPv6 using MIRAI-SF network simulator version 3.1. This is similar to NAM for NS which animates the trace file of a simulation. The wired links have higher bandwidth than wireless link. As a reuslt, the mobile device received less packets than being sent by the correspondent node.

This ia FMIPv6 simulation allows the mobile device to handover between wifi and 3G node b. Wired one is much better and it is cheaper. It has a higher bandwidth. In another word, it can push more data packets than the wireless link. The wireless has limited bandwidth and usually it is expensive because operators have to a huge amount license to MCMC. For example, the maximun bandwidth for 3G is 2Mbps for indoor environment.
